Sa gabos/tanan/lahat na kapanalig, kababayan, at kapalangga, just a final reminder:

The Truthfest is on tonight! More formally titled “Panahon Na: Tungo sa Liwanag”, it’s organized by a conglomeration of many groups–political, religious, social, and all of the above, including the Association of Major Religious Superiors of the Philippines, Ang Kapatiran Party, and other associations within and outside the one true Church–to highlight the need for truth and accountability in Philippine society.

To be held from dusk till dawn (3 p.m. August 22 to 6 a.m. August 23) at Plaza Rajah Sulayman along Roxas Boulevard (in front of Ermita Church), this protest/celebration will have prayer, street art, performances by major names in the music industry, including the ever-excellent Noel Cabangon and Grace Nono, speeches and testimonies by truth-tellers, a “Litany of Untruths” before midnight, and a “Pledge to Restore Truth” as the sun rises. The truthfest promises to be both fun and meaningful, and a worthy way to celebrate the death anniversary of a martyr for justice.

Let’s keep the flame of truth burning. Come and join!
