Let us pray:

Lord Jesus Christ, Who made a sinful man[38] the rock of Your Church, we beseech You for the conversion of his successor, Francis. If he has erred, enlighten him; if he has strayed, correct him; if he has fallen, restore him. Confirm him in grace and truth, and confirm us through him[39], that as one flock under one shepherd[40] we may glorify the Father with You and the Holy Spirit[41], one God, now and in eternity. Amen.

  1. “…we beseech you for the conversion of His successor, Francis….” With those few words it seems to be an admission of the sedevacantist position. If a pope needs conversion he’s not Catholic. If he’s not Catholic, he obviously can’t be a valid pope.

    I doubt the author(s) of the litany and prayer and those who pray it will admit the tragic fact Chair is empty.

  3. “……beseech You for the conversion of his successor, Francis.” Those few words indicate that Francis isn’t Catholic, if he isn’t Catholic he can’t possibly be a pope.

    You have just validated the sedevacantist position.

  4. My Sandra Kinley we are not condemning Pope Francis we praying that he needs to what we some see watch himself so that he doesn’t fall into any Errer so He doesn’t bring down the Church with Him. That is true for all of Christ followers.
